Direct digital transfer to mp4:
VHS & VHS-C (compact version of VHS) was one of the first domestic video format in the early 1980's.
Betamax was also released around this time. Whilst superior in image quality, its popularity was short lived.
Video8 and Hi8 formats were released during the 1990's. These 8mm tape cartridges were much smaller, (similar in size to an Audiocassette).
Digital8, (a digital version of 8mm format), followed in the late 90's.
Around 2000 the smaller format miniDV digital tape was released.

DVD & miniDVD conversions to mp4
You may have previously transferred your family home videotapes to DVD but notice you no longer have a DVD reader in your computer or laptop? No problem, we can convert these discs to digital file (mp4) on USB for you.
DVD's have not held up to test of time (contrary to the manufacturers promises) and unfortunately they are beginning to fail less than 5-7 years after being recorded.
It is important to act now before it is too late.
Note: Commerically produced recordings are excluded from transfer due to Copyright law
